These are chewy! The matcha one is so generously covered with matcha powder that it's slightly bitter, but dipping the brown sugar syrup balances out the bitter taste. The kinako mochi is nice even without the syrup!

ordered 2 boxes. very smooth and nice and the syrup lends a great bittersweet taste to the palate. the mochi did arrive a tad awkward shaped cause of the carrier handling but by and far yummy.

Not bad but different
Texture of mochi is stiffer, unlike usual warabi mochi! Tastes not bad nonetheless but would prefer more chewy and wobbly ones :) Both the matcha and soybean powder were left out in the open on the counter next to the cashier, would have preferred them to be covered!
