very impressed by the professionalism and service from matchaya. pleasant encounter so far in delivery and over WhatsApp. ordered winter's here and was expecting 2 tubs of matcha but instead was given 1 tub of hokkaido milk in place of matcha but matchaya gladly did the exchange the next day. Product-wise, definitely very good quality and confirmed best matcha and houjicha in town.

Glad the Hokkaido milk flavour was replaced by another Uji Matcha which is a personal favourite. It has a good balance of bitterness and sweetness. Would have been happier with a more robust earthy matcha flavour. Matchaya team, any consideration to introduce a ceremonial or premium matcha flavour similar to the taste of the swiss roll filling? I'll be first in line if there is!
The other two flavours - Houjicha and Black Sesame flavours are too sweet for my liking unfortunately. Texture wise creamy and milky with sufficient black sesame and houjicha. Reminds me of a good latte or milkshake in frozen form

Yum... really good green tea and houjicha flavours. Only tweak i will suggest is the paper tub that comes apart easily when trying to scoop and it emits a cupboard smell

the ice creams were great, unfortunately where the hokkaido milk was not available, the option should be given to the buyer to choose the extra rather than defaulting it to only the matcha variety. if all 4 variants were not available, make it unavailable and have a bundle of 4 for a fixed price then. :)

Excellent flavour, especially the Black Sesame ice cream. Similar to taste to the ice cream that would come up after a meal at an expensive Jap restaurant. Highly recommended if you like black sesame ice cream.
