Where Conversations Flow - Over Tea | REACH

In an effort to engage the community and spark meaningful dialogue, REACH Singapore recently hosted a participatory survey event at Geneo, Science Park.

As a government engagement unit under the Ministry of Digital Development and Information, REACH focuses on connecting with citizens and gathering ground-up perspectives on national issues - through dialogues, surveys, Listening Points, and community-level engagement sessions in partnership with PA grassroots organisations.

This year’s session went beyond conversation alone.

Participants were invited to share their views on pressing local topics while enjoying thoughtfully curated refreshments served from a mobile tea bar - transforming the space into one that felt welcoming, relaxed, and conducive to open exchange

On the menu

Mini Pain Au Chocolat

Flaky, buttery croissant pastry wrapped with velvety dark chocolate

Mini Banana Crumble Danish

Layers of crisp pastry, banana slices, rich custard and a buttery crumble finish

Iced Matcha Milk

A quiet crowd favourite - no introduction needed

The gathering successfully demonstrated that comfortable, well-considered environments play a crucial role in encouraging honest and meaningful dialogue.

For organisations looking to host their own engagement sessions, immersive details - from interactive refreshments to intentional pacing - can elevate conversations and leave lasting impressions.

Just as REACH Singapore did at Geneo, the right setting can turn a gathering into a dynamic platform for exchange.
