This month, in honour of International Nurses Day, we had the humbling privilege of serving the incredible medical team at Singapore General Hospital (SGH).
Armed with freshly whisked Matcha and Houjicha milk, and small bites like warabi mochi, it was a great midday pick-me-up and caffeine boost to those who deserved it most.
When we think of superheroes, we often picture them with capes and superpowers. But in real life, the true heroes are those in scrubs, working tirelessly to keep our healthcare system standing strong.
Nurses and doctors often work while we are asleep. They power through fatigue, navigate crises, and offer kindness when it's needed most.
If COVID-19 taught us anything, it's that they are the backbone of our healthcare system, standing tall through the suffocating PPE suits, rising patient counts, and unimaginable emotional strain.
To all the nurses and doctors out there, thank you for choosing a path that's challenging, often overlooked, and yet so profoundly essential. Till the next whisk!
