Launch of Tea-Inspired Menu 2.0
From the very beginning, our menu has seen numerous renditions. Each version reflected our commitment to quality, innovation, and the evolving tastes of our customers. But now, as we enter a new era, we feel it’s the perfect time to take things to the next level.
This shift is why we’re introducing a new single-origin cultivar to our menu. We believe that offering this premium matcha will not only elevate your tea-drinking experience but also educate you on the nuances and finer points of what truly great matcha can be.
But this is just the beginning. As we innovate and explore new categories within the realm of tea and matcha, you can look forward to exciting additions like sparkling and fruity teas, as well as other unique tea concoctions.
When it comes to matcha, not all are created equal.
For years, we’ve delighted in sharing our Yabukita blend with you—a blend that has been the backbone of many of our most beloved offerings, from matcha milk to warabi mochi. But as we explore the ever-expanding world of tea, we consistently find ourselves drawn back to the distinctive flavour profiles from Okumidori cultivar.
The Okumidori cultivar might ring a bell for some of you. That’s because it’s the same cultivar as the one we use in our Ceremonial Grade Signature Koicha Milk. Okumidori cultivar is a single-origin matcha that stands out for its exceptional taste and quality. It’s a matcha that doesn’t just hold its own in traditional tea ceremonies but also shines in everyday indulgences like your favourite matcha desserts.
The shift from our Yabukita blend to the single-origin Okumidori is more than just a change in ingredients; it’s a reflection of our dedication to quality and our belief that the best matcha should be enjoyed by all.

Uji Matcha 18 (left) vs Matcha 8 (right)
Matcha is shade-grown towards the end of the growing cycle to increase chlorophyll levels. With the increased shading in Matcha 8, it leads to higher antioxidants levels and greater chlorophyll concentrations in the leaves, improving both the colour and quality of the matcha.
Stay tuned as we unveil the latest updates and innovations in our Menu 2.0.
