Sparkling Matcha Yuzu | Uji Matcha 8 and Yuzu

Matcha Yuzu stands out as a clean, flavourful, and refreshing summer beverage.

Best part? It’s totally lactose-free and guilt-free. Let’s dive into why Matcha Yuzu might just be your new go-to drink.

TEAWARES

  • Chawan (bowl)
  • Chasen (bamboo whisk)
  • Chasen holder (whisk holder)
  • Scoop
  • Sift

INGREDIENTS

  • 2g of Matcha powder
  • 30 - 35g Yuzu paste
  • 70 - 80 ml of warm water (70 - 80°C preferred)
  • 120 - 130g Ginger Ale
  • Ice

DIRECTIONS

1. Add 30 - 35g of Yuzu paste.
2. Add ice and Ginger Ale.
3. Sieve 2g of matcha powder.
4. Add 70 - 80 ml of warm water (70 - 80°C preferred)

5. Whisk thoroughly to prevent any lumps, followed by a 'zig-zag' motion to start foaming the mixture.

6. Carefully pour your whisked matcha into the cup.

With a natural dose of caffeine that’s balanced by L-theanine, matcha gives you steady, smooth energy without the crash.

And Yuzu brings a bright, tangy flavour to the mix that’s somewhere between a grapefruit and mandarin, with a little floral twist. Oh, and it’s loaded with vitamin C—hello, immune boost!

Together, this combination makes a dynamic duo that’s refreshing, flavourful, and full of good-for-you vibes.
