JAS Summer Festival 2024

Highlights of an interactive event we did with Japanese Association Singapore!

Thank you for this wonderful opportunity as it brings back memories when we first started off as a pop-up store.

As visitors wandered through the festival, they were greeted by an enchanting sight of people dressed in traditional Japanese costumes such as kimonos and yukatas, adding an authentic touch to the ambiance.

We also bumped into some of our #friendsofmatchaya - Hello Arigato, Beard Papa an Welcia-BHG, at the fair.

One of the primary aims of the JAS Summer Festival is to celebrate and promote Japanese culture among both the Japanese community in Singapore and the wider local population. It serves as an educational platform to showcase traditional Japanese arts, crafts, and performances.

From the rhythmic beats of taiko drums to the swift moves of traditional dance, each performance added a layer of cultural richness to the festival.

Tea Boxes

The festival provided the perfect setting for us to display our Tea Boxes, given that our tea leaves are sourced directly from Japan.

 Iced Matcha Milk

Perfect thirst quencher for a Summer Festival!
It has been an absolute pleasure to bring high-quality Japanese tea to the JAS Summer Festival. We are looking forward to what next year’s event will bring.
